Lessons begin at 8:30
Good sleep supports learning. Lessons start at 8:30 and end by 16:10, or 13:00 on Fridays.

We have shared expectations and provide different support for individual needs, helping every student meet the same standards fairly.

Pen and paper help us concentrate. We usually learn without phones during lessons and explore modern technology in computing.
Memory training
Second-year students take a memory course that supports learning across subjects for the rest of their studies.

Social responsibility and ethics

Four-year grammar school · programme 79-41-K/41 · full-time study. Our qualifications have the same standing as those from state schools.
English + Spanish / French / German
Learning with native speakers extends beyond English. Contact with a native speaker from the beginning helps students overcome communication barriers and make progress.

Find practical information about studying at AMAZON.
What does tuition include, and how do I pay?
Tuition covers full-time study leading to the Czech school-leaving examination, e-learning, consultations, counselling, the ACGA Academic Assistance Programme and assistance with Cambridge exam registration. English plus Spanish, French or German costs CZK 93,000 a year; English plus Japanese costs CZK 97,000. You can pay in full within three days of signing the contract or in instalments. The school activities fund is CZK 6,000 a year.
Is accommodation available?
We help students from outside Prague find places in youth residences across the city, including Studentská, Neklanova, Lovosická, Třebešín, Ohradní and Zelený pruh. Private residences are another option. Ask the school office about current availability.
What are the lunch options?
Lunch is available at the Uhelný trh school canteen, about 150 metres from school. Menus are available on the canteen’s website and e-jidelnicek.cz.
Can students get ISIC and MultiSport cards?
Students receive an ISIC card with transport and other discounts. As a MultiSport partner school, we also enable students to apply using their school email account.
How much absence is allowed?
This is a full-time, in-person programme. Above 25% absence in a subject, a supplementary written or practical examination is required. Above 35%, an oral examination is required too.
Which software do students use?
Students receive a school Google account, access to AIS Moodle, Škola OnLine and Microsoft Office. Access details are provided by the school.
